All problems with the interface in my previous post have been solved with the 0.61 update (I believe it is beta).

Re-rated 5/5. All the functionality of the previous versions exist and work as expected, but with a new (better in my opinion) interface and notification system. Great work Todd! (Also, thanks for the quick work-around)
