First off, a great big thanks! I agree, its much faster than the original. There is one missing feature... The ability to search or select sub-folders first. I have many duplicates between organized folders and my sent folder (among others!). This can certainly be worked around manually, but it would be great if there was a method to prefer "deeper" sub folders over higher level folders. Nonetheless, thanks a million for reviving this extension!

... as the folder traversal is asynchronous. I'm even hoping to parallelize it with some background threads, if Javascript threading becomes more usable. So there's no 'first' and 'last'.

What you could do is choose to display the folder column in the review dialog and sort by it.
