maybe it's lightning, but it also could be gdata-provider that is completely destroying my user experience with thunderbird.
from a users perspective it doesnt matter - it doesnt work

thunderbird + lightning + gdata is a basic setup that as an average user one just expects to work out of the box and surely not to break after an upgrade giving the whole platform a bad reputation

stopped working after last upgrade - WTF - linux version 68.2.1
i'll have to look for alternatives, this is just madness - it's infeasible, unreasonable and unacceptable to do sh*t like that to your users
sadly this also goes to thunderbird, as without an integrated calendar i can also use webmail etc - as i said will have to look for alternatives.
deeply disapointed - a previously very satisfied user
