Forward
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I'm sorry, but i uninstalled Forward because everytime i would start Thunderbird, Firefox would start also and would redirect to forward.mozdev.org and ask me to donate $1.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.10).Compact Menu 2
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It has a bug when trying to access xul addresses inside tabs of the main program. This is not an issue with Firefox since Compact Menu has one entry, however it is an issue with Thunderbird which has no less than 3 Compact Menu entries. Bug is here http://github.com/Milly/compact_menu_2/issues#issue/1

Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I admire the fact that you tried to give the browser a more overall Aero Glass feel but there are some issues:
1) The text in the status bar, the find bar, bookmark bar and the menu bar is barely visible.
2) The text from the tabs is sometimes less visible then the ones at 1), say against a darker background.
3) issue no 1) brakes the visibility of some addons that automatically change colour to fit with the theme used, ie download statusbar.

I see you are using white text against a grey background which gives it sort of a gray shadow dropdown effect like the windows desktop icons, but guess what, the windows desktop icons have white text with a black shadow.
All issues can be fixed if you try and render the font of the menubars in black and have a hashed white background, basically having the text render exactly like the Windows Aero Glass title bar. Another FF extension already implements this: Glasser, and it shows the menubar text in a readable fashion.
Otherwise your addon completely kicks Glasser ass.
I realise that since Firefox version 3.7 and 4 will/might enable the glass effect by default there is no real incentive to continue working on the addon, but it is your choice.
Compact Menu 2

I would ask this on the support page but it is in some east asian language. But is there any chance i could enable this addon only for the bookmarks menu and not have it disable the Firefox menubar?
What do i have to modify in about:config to not have this addon disable the main menu bar.
I played with some settings and i got the main menu bar to reapear but with no text.
