0 byte issue again with version 5.5.3....

Hi there, I'm experiencing the old 0-byte issue when using the add-on on Firefox 30 on Mac OS X and Kubuntu 14.04 x64.

Any ideas to get the add-on working properly again ?

same problem of dadto7 on linux.....I started thunderbird from console with :

thunderbird -safe-mode

and then I disabled Lightning. Then started thunderbird again in the normal mode.
