My Reviews
PrefBar
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
My favorite extension - thanks for being so versatile and up-to-date! I've been using PrefBar for years on Firefox, K-meleon and Seamonkey.
A small nag in FF 4 Beta 7: Whenever I have customized my Firefox toolbar layout, PrefBar appears to want to load all its unused buttons and options. All is well again after I restart Firefox.

As far as I can tell, the Windows version of FF doesn't erase the clipboard when you mark search text, so all it does for those folks is add the "clear button".

I've been using it forever, usually it worked great. For some time it didn't convert the page link right (left the "&usg=..." string in), and from today on it doesn't work at all.
Can anybody confirm this?

Correction to previous review: ... Sort Bookmarks Menu doesn't restore Firefox 2 behavior, it also doesn't work an a per-folder basis (yet).

Great for sorting all your bookmarks with one click - but what if you want to sort each folder differently, just like in Firefox 2?
SortPlaces does, or doesn't do, more or less the same. Let's hope for good things to come...

Well, nice start. It allows me to sort the "main" bookmarks containers in Firefox 3, but what if I want to have my bookmarks sorted using different criteria? Example:
- Bookmarks toolbar: manual sort
- Bookmarks menu: sort automatically A-Z with folders first
- Some special subfolder: sort by Date added
Would be nice if it were possible. For now, I'll have a look at "Sort Bookmarks Menu". This should restore Firefox 2 behavior.
