Looks like I have to do some more Ego polishing... :)
To everybody who did not realize it yet... CookieSafe's support for Firefox stops at 3.6.* which is why I am currently maintaining newer versions of this addon here:

For everybody how was complaining about my fixed up version not changing permissions correctly:
I have released a new fixed version of CookieSafe but you probably have to manually install it since it is not yet reviewed.

I think this is an excellent extension and as such it should continue to run under Firefox 4, created a Firefox 4 compatible version of CookieSafe here and would like people to test it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookiesafe-ff-4-compatible/
