Funambol Mozilla Sync Client
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This is a great plugin once you get it to work. Two things that are missing are TB3 support, and maybe some more detailed settings / testing options. I've been trying to get sync to work with my Rackspace email account, and their funambol server uses some non-standard settings which are tricky to figure out with the limited set of diagnostic tools and options in the plugin. Has anybody gotten this to work on a Rackspace account? Also, if you want Rackspace to make a working plugin of their own, please vote for it here: http://www.rackspace.com/email_hosting/ideas Thanks!

this is a great addon (when it works). It allows simple set-and-forget contact and calendar sharing on multiple machines (even when both are running, which is impossible using shared network folders).
I've gotten it to work fine with addresses, but it always hangs when trying to sync calendars (using lightning). Once that bug gets sorted, you can even use it as a cheap groupware solution (like sharing a calendar with friends) as long as everybody has access to the same IMAP account.

this is a very useful function, but if you integrate it with something like Download Statusbar it would be perfect
