Manually sort folders
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I added a Microsoft Exchange email account to Thunderbird and it will only sort the account to the bottom of the list or the top (if set as the default). I don't want this account in either position. Otherwise works as it is supposed to.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1).Lightning

Just wanted to share a great free way I discovered to synchronize multiple Lightning calendars and tasks - install a Dropbox on your computer.
When creating a calendar (in Windows), simply point the network pointer to "file:\\\<<Path to Dropbox .ics file>> which it sees as a local file. Do the same on the other computers on which Dropbox is also installed. You can create as many calendars or task lists as you wish and updating across the network is almost instantaneous.

I've just started syncing my Thunderbird Tasks and Calendars with memotoo.com and it works great! I'm using the Funambol sync add-on. You can only use one calendar but you can have multiple categories within a calendar. Tasks are attached to the one calendar.
Memotoo can sync with Google Calendar including tasks.
Quicktext
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
As another poster said, Quicktext hasn't been updated for TBird 3.1.*. Here's how to modify the file manually...
Change the .xpi extension to .zip.
Unzip it and extract the files.
Find the .rdf file and open it with Notepad.
Change the line <em:maxVersion>3.0.*</em:maxVersion> to read <em:maxVersion>3.1.*</em:maxVersion> and save the file.
Zip the folder up again.
Change the .zip extension back to .xpi.
Install and enjoy...
