gContactSync
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Excellent addon, but it no longer works.
Tried installing it today on Thunderbird 68.4.1. The addon installs but when adding a gmail account you get the error:
"Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app. This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In."
Folder Account

Up till Thunderbird 60, this was usually the first add-on I installed. One of the most useful I ever used.
Since then, very disappointing. Even though a version has since been released for the current 68 version, it does not work.
I would give 10 stars if I was still on 60, but now that I have moved up to 68 and lost one of my favorites, it will have to be just one. Would give it 0 if that was possible, but the concept alone deserves a star.
Provider for Google Calendar
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Seems there are some issues with the newer versions of Thunderbird. It goes through the whole authentication and permissions process with Google OK, but mostly it does not give a list of calendars to choose from. Sometimes it does, sometime it doesn't. I did repeated installs and I guess it is something like less than 10% of the time it gives the list of calendars.
Once it does, it works just fine. I would give 5 stars for an add-on that I have used for years, but just 1 because of this problem.

Wondering why so many updates in one day. Why not only publish once per day instead of every hour.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (42.2).Lightning
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
When following the link for the version history above, it takes you to version history for Thunderbird, not Lightning.
Surely, as this is still an add-on, there should be a separate release history?
Enhanced Date Formatter
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I got so used to the way the date is presented in another email client that when I use Thunderbird I am always looking for the same format. This add-on allows me to configure the date the way I am used to, and much more. Excellent add-on!
Just hope it is compatible as Thunderbird upgrades. ;-)
Colored Folders

What a great add-on. I used it before but since updating to 68, I can no longer use it. Hoping it will soon be available again.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.5.2).ImportExportTools NG
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Excellent! Was missing ImportExportTools when I moved to the beta channel. Now, with ImportExportTools NG, I have it back.
Thanks.
ThunderBirthDay

One of the most useful addons, BUT seems the developer has gone AWOL. His site has been removed and there is no way to contact him. Pity, because I was hoping this addon would be there in 68.
5 stars for an exceptional addon, but maybe -5 for the missing dev. ;-(
Quicktext
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
One of my all-time favourite add-ons, the only thing worthwhile in Thunderbird, has now passed on for good.
R.I.P.
Was still working with a workaround even at the beginning of 57 beta. Alas that there is no longer any development on this as 59 alpha would have proved stronger than ever, but for this one short-coming: the absence of QuickText and QuickText Pro.
Header Tools Lite
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
One of my all time favourites. Always in the list of add-ons for any new install.
Hoping for an upgrade because it no longer works with Thunderbird 59. It loads, but you can't change the headers, and the full source is just blank.
Save Images
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
One of my most favorite addons, that I am missing since upgrading to Quantum. I regularly used the feature to save images from all tabs to the right, and have not been able to find anything that comes close as a replacement. So do I stick with the old Firefox, or move forward without this great time saver?
Contact Photos
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Love this addon. Does mostly what I want it to do, except where a contact has more than one address.
If you receive an email from a contact where the address is the additional address, the addon does not display the photo. Would be perfect if it did!
