Thanks for replying. I didn't know the addon file includes the source code. Was expecting a link to a code repo.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.1).

Incorrect license information! This is NOT OPEN SOURCE under Mozilla Public License as shown on the Addon page.

Please update the license to reflect that otherwise it will be false marketing. Thanks.

The license information is correct. The AddOn you're downloading is a ZIP file, which contains all source code files, including the proper MPL license text.

The MPL - and neither do any other open source license - force the author to maintain a Git repository and an issue tracker or put the code public on GitHub or any other code hoster.

The distribution of the code itself can be done in multiple ways. For mailmindr this is currently the download of the source code itself as a ZIP package. While the package can be directly used in Thunderbird itself as a working addon, all code files for rebuilding and modifying the code, including the email address of the author, is included.

So please modify your unnecessary One-Star-Review and provide a more elaborated summary of why mailmindr isn't MPL compatible, as right now your review is just a personal rant that the way of getting access to the source code doesn't fit your personal preferences.

You can also reach out to hello (a) mailmindr [dot] net - looking forward to a more detailed feedback.

Have a nice day,

arnd.

Looks like it's no longer open source under Mozilla Public License as shown on the Addon page so please update the license to reflect that otherwise it will be false marketing. Thanks.
