Freshly installed v0.30 on TB 102.4.2/Ubuntu, and after configuration it does exactly what I'd hoped: notifies me (via system popup, plus a custom .wav file sound) of incoming emails in a specific account only.

Seems to work as intended. Using on Thunderbird 60.7.1 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 18.04 .
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
