Can't live without this addon :-)
I provides a quick and simple method to sort and archive you messages. If you use separate mail adresses (aliases) for every contact (to filter spam), then Autofile works in both directions (incoming and sent messages).

As I use my email as my ToDo list, and move them to Local Folders manually, finding Autofile was a godsend. I have been doing this for 20+ years and finally I get a pushbutton solution.
It works as advertised and is my new most favorite Add-on (Autoarchive comes second but its a bit scary to run).
Autofile has a few features I'd like to see - an exclusions list for its keyword completion, closing after registering and moving a first email, and working better with multiple displays (follow Thunderbird to its current display). But really nitpicky tweaks that I do not expect implemented.

I have been using AutoFile for a few months now and I find it very useful!
It makes it much easier for me to archive the emails in their respective folders.

Very good customer centricity. The developer quickly took action following my rating and comments in July 2021. The add-on has been updated and is now working flawlessly. Very useful, especially when you are receiving a lot of emails from the same sender(s).
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.7). This user has a previous review of this add-on.Rated 2 out of 5 stars
NOTE - There is no place to ask for Support. There is a User Guide under "Support Section" but thats it.
So here is my Bug.
I love the idea of this AddOn and have just installed it.
I have registered my first email address and it has moved the email to the correct folder.
I then moved the email back to inbox to test the Autofile.
The Green Button is displayed and the Folder Name is shown.
However, when I click the Button the registration form is displayed again and I have to choose the folder again before it will move the email.
Support can be obtained at autofile@oasisllc.com.
The bug you reported was identified and fixed in Version 1.1.6 . Thank you for signalling it.
