Someone please bring this back this for me is the only functionality Thunderbird is missing that forces me to stick with outlook this is essential to telling whether or not a email is spam or not and gives us a nice little preview to know what the email was about

I love this add-on for the same reason as given by Firefox-gebruiker 9e1463. Therefor I very unhappy it isn't working any longer in version 115.2.2
Maybe one day????

This add-on is great.
It helps me tell if a message is spam or not, without opening it first.
Highly recommended

Great extension. I wish the user can choose the background color of the preview, and the width.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3).Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This addon is great and does what it says it will do, I just wish it automatically a short preview under each message in the inbox. So instead of hovering over an icon, there was the first sentence or 2 of the email under "From" & "Sender" BUT that's not what the addon was meant to do, so as this addon goes, it gets 5 stars for doing exactly what it is supposed to do.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3).Thanks. Your request is probably the #1 most wanted feature for Tb. It is very hard, if not impossible, to do correctly using the current widget for message list display. I know because I have an unpublished extension that goes 80% of the way there...

In an environment where my business partners start all their emails with:
subject: re: xyzxy (and never change the xyzxy over 30 replies),
this addon is truely helpful to find the one message in the sequence of re's that I need.
thanks,
Klaus
one question: the body is fetched on hover or pre-fetched on folderdisplay? (= efficiency on really large folders or offline use)?
It's up to you - see the Options/Preferences in Add-ons Manager. The default is to fetch on mouse hover. Although everything is async, fetching on row scroll into view when scrolling is very fast will be cpu intensive like most things in treeview.
