First I just want to say this add-on is freakin great! It gets used every day, multiple times a day on many of my regulary sites and occassionally suprising me on some random sites I visit. The amount of time, effort and frustration this add-on has saved me over the many many months (possibly years) I've been using it is incredible. It works tirelessly and faultlessly!!
My only gripe is that this add-on seems to be updated ridiculously often. I mean don't get me wrong, I definitely advocate improvements with all software but geez, the number of times I've clicked to open firefox, walked away to grab a drink, let pages load etc etc and come back with the dialog box preventing this from happening that says that autopager has another update is just WAY too frequent. Usually when the box says an add-on needs an update I just click continue and move on but this is happening so often that it is a noticable issue for me and I signed up to mozilla just to let you guys know. Maybe you could spread them out a little or package some of the updates together rather than spitting out every single tiny update as soon as it comes up (lol I'm surprised your version history page isn't indexed on multiple pages and the autopaged as it is huge!!).
Anyway, don't get me wrong, this add-on is brilliant and I tell anyone that listens to me about it but the frequency of the updates (and as backwards as it sounds complaining about consistent software improvements is) is pretty annoying. Even my girlfriend has complained to me a couple of times. Maybe space them out a bit? Well, either way, seriously keep up the incredible work!!
Thanks for the info. There is a lot of bug reports and feature reports. But I develop this in my spare time. So there is not a good plan for the upgrade. I don't know whether I will have time to do more work on this, so I make release it as soon as I finish some major bug fix and use it for a few days.
You can ignore the update by change your local AutoPager version.
Open firefox profile following this:
http://support.mozilla.com/en-us/kb/Profiles
open extensions\autopager@mozilla.org\install.rdf
Change em:version="0.5.0.1" to something like em:version="0.9.0.0"
Thus you will only get update after I release 0.9.x or later version.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
