EMail Address Crawler
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Using TB 3.0.10 on Linux. Created new address book just to receive addresses extracted, and moved some messages with long lists of recipients into a folder with nothing else in it. Reported addresses saved but none appear. Now it is likely that all the addresses are already in address books, but this tool is only useful if it ignores that and saves the addresses into the selected address book anyway. Any late word on this?
The most common way I would use this tool is when I want to do a reply-all to a message with many more recipients than my access provider will let me send to at once. I would copy the message to a special Extract folder, then use this tool to extract all the addresses into a special Extract address book. From there I can either send to a fraction of them at a time, or export the address book contents to a file, sftp it to my hosting provider, ssh in, and send on that server, for which there is not the recipient limit. Alternatively, I could import into a tool like Mailman for use as a listserv.
