CardBook
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great add-on for TB. I'm sticking with 94.4, though, because all the 95.x up to 95.5 just don't work for me, seeming to have lost the address books completely.

A great add-on allowing me to use my Google Contacts in TB. Version 94.3 now works correctly on TB 128 ESR. Thank you for updating so rapidly from 94.1, which did not work for me.

A great add-on thank you, allowing me to use my Google Contacts right in Thunderbird. However, since I downloaded Thunderbird 128ESR, on that version of TB Cardbook does not work as my address book, and TB instead always uses the built in address book. I cannot see how to change that - on TB115 Cardbook automatically took over as the default address book. I am using the latest version of Cardbook (94.1). I have returned to TB115 and Cardbook 94.1 works just fine there.

Promising add-on for TB 115. But it doesn't seem to get the time zone correct and also doesn't seem to heed the 24 hr option. Also, it would be nice to have an option just to quote the local time of the received email without all the +1.00 or -1.00 details which most people will not understand.
GMail Labels
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I was looking for a way of seeing which Gmail labels are attached to an email and this seems to do the trick albeit with a delay when focusing on a particular email. It would be nice for the label colours to mirror those set in Gmail itself, but I'm assuming the labels are derived by looking into the IMAP folder structure rather than by getting anything directly from the Gmail server itself.

A great and must-have add-on for me. But it currently doesn't work with v115. I'm hoping the author is going to apply an upgrade in the near future?

A wonderful add-on which I have been using for as long as it's been around. Thank you, Jeeva. It is not compatible with TB 102, unfortunately. However, editing the xpi to change the max version to 102 (it's currently set to 91) seems to make it work again, suggesting that that may be all that's necessary to 'update' this add-on.
Thank you for your positive response, Jeeva.
Compact Headers

This is now (almost) perfect. I do still have a feature request, if you are able/willing to do it, though. When showing the compact header for an RSS feed article, the older add-on associated the article's URL as a hyperlink on the Subject field so that I could just click on the Subject header to link to the full article. Here, I have to expand the headers in order to see the web address to click on. That would be a nice feature if you can do it. Many thanks.

I've just been trying this out even though I don't mind the standard icons. I do like the look and colour of these ones, though. Just one little issue. For my Gmail account folders, the theme doesn't recognise the "Bin" folder (UK Gmail) as a wastebin and therefore that is just assigned a standard folder icon. Other accounts with a "Deleted" folder get the correct icon. No big deal, but it would be nice to see the waste icon associated with the Bin folder.
Just confirmed. By changing my Gmail account temporarily to language English (US) , when the deleted folder is now called "Trash" and Thunderbird labels it "Deleted" , the proper wastebin icon is assifned. Change it back to English (UK) and it goes back to a standard file folder.
Thank you, Dillinger, that seems to work. Cheers for getting back to me so rapidly.

Still not working for me, on large or small folders.
Thank you to TurtleTec for updating. Maybe it's just me, but I just cannot get it to work. Click on the Tick while a folder with unread messages is selected in the folder pane, and nothing happens. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. My TB version is 78.1.1 en-gb 64 bit.
Thank you for your kind offer of assistance. I have emailed you some details earlier this week,

Just what I want, but doesn't seem to work on TB 78 (64 bit).
Now on 78.1.0 and still not working at all.
I'm confused as to what reviewer D means by "works on individual accounts"

A really indispensible add-on to sync TB contacts with Google. Sadly, this does not work with TB version 78. If the author gets to read this, it would be wonderful if you could rewrite the app to work in 78 onward.

This add-on for TB68 has been a great success and I find it so very useful. I'm not sure whether it will work for the upcoming TB78, though? Coud the author please comment? Thanks you.

Same problem for me. Works just after installation. Does not work on subsequent re-starts.

Dear @DS, your suggested edit works perfectly on v68. Thank you so much.
Oh, except that it seems to disappear from the TB toolbar each time I restart TB :(
Further investigation shows it only does not persist on the Menu Bar (which is where I always have located it). It remains ok on the Mail toolbar, though.

Such a simple, yet essential extension for me. Have used this one for many years. Now it looks like it doesn't work with Thunderbird 68 and I wonder if the author might be willing to spend some time updating it?

Works really well for me. But is it going to be updated to work with Thunderbird 68, I wonder?
Great to hear from the developer that he will be updating this add-on. Thank you very much in advance.
