Mailboard – Your email, organized by week
Mailboard brings a fresh perspective to your Thunderbird inbox. View your incoming and outgoing messages in a weekly Kanban-style board, with a separate column for each day from Monday to Sunday.
Features
Weekly email overview: See your messages organized by day and sorted by timestamp.
Easy week navigation: Browse previous and upcoming weeks, jump to the current week, or select a date using the calendar.
Account and folder selection: View all accounts or choose a specific one. Include or exclude individual folders and subfolders.
Flexible search: Filter the entire week by sender, subject, or all searchable fields—subject, sender, and recipients. Each day also has its own search field.
Per-day sorting: Switch between oldest-first and newest-first order independently for each column.
Message status at a glance: Quickly identify unread messages, starred messages, and emails with attachments. Hover over the paperclip to see attachment filenames.
Quick message preview: Hover over a message for one second to read its text in a large, scrollable preview.
Open messages with a double-click: Open an email in a separate Thunderbird message window.
Automatic updates: New incoming messages appear automatically when you are viewing the current week, while respecting your active filters.
Remembered preferences: Your account selection, folder choices, search filters, and sorting preferences are saved locally.
Light and dark appearance: Automatically follows your environment’s color preference.
English and German: The interface adapts to Thunderbird’s language, with English as the fallback.
