This add-on is designed to help you efficiently resizing embedded images in a message directly within the composer window with just one little click. It provides a simple, one-click solution for resizing images and offers a real-time estimate of your email's total size. You can select if your images will be small, medium or large - JPEG and PNG files are supported.
Effortless Image Resizing
This feature allows you to quickly resize images, such as screenshots, that you embed in a new email. With a single click in a panel conveniently located in the composer window, you can instantly scale images down to one of three preset sizes: small, medium, or large. This process is particularly useful for reducing the overall size of your email, which helps prevent it from being rejected by recipient servers or exceeding mailbox quotas.
To protect image quality, the add-on will not rescale images that have already been resized using its functionality. This prevents multiple, successive resizings that could lead to a loss of clarity or resolution. However, if you add new images to your email later, they can still be resized after they are embedded.
Total Email Size Estimation
The add-on also provides a helpful estimate of your email's total size. (Text + Embeds) to give you an orientation how much memory you saved. Please note that the estimation can differ a bit from the final size of your mail as things like mail headers or additional (classic) attachments can't be reliably counted before sent.
