Lacks day of week ("Mon, Tues, Wed..."). Otherwise a good imitation of the defunct Statusbar Clock.

Google Blog Search

Useful, but the orange 'B' icon implies that this only searches Blogger (since that is the icon for Blogger). In fact the search is for any and all blogs that Google's blog search function searches. So I'd recommend changing the icon to make it perfect.

Fantastic -- exactly what I needed. If I may suggest one improvement, it would be for it to check on outdated Amazon.com bookmarks -- which is difficult since Amazon never retires any product pages, ever -- they simply add the text "This item is currently not available" to any product that no longer exists. So somehow, CheckPlaces would have to look for that sentence when looking at Amazon.com bookmarks.
