I like to hide my folders (I have many email accounts and don't use global inbox). Using this ext allows me to have all my inboxes - and pertinent Local Folders - right at the top in a toolbar. Folders have New and Total email counts displayed. It's perfect. Works great in Ubuntu, too. Thanks much.
