IPvFox
3 csillagra értékelve az 5-ből
The description says: "Unlike related extensions ShowIP and SixOrNot, this shows the actual remote addresses for each connection, rather than a DNS lookup on the page's domain name."
But unfortunately, ShowIP is accurate in that it shows the IP address of the website you are visiting. While IPvFox on the other hand shows the IP address of the Proxy server you are using _not_ the website.
I'm filing it as a bug report as well, see below:
------------------------------------------------------------------
Proxy Server Getting Detected Instead
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install a local proxy
2. Setup your browser to use your proxy
3. Refresh/Visit a website
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The extension should be showing the IP addresses of the site. But instead, it is showing the local proxy's IP address.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.8.0
Please provide any additional information below.
none

Other than that, the addon is great if you don't use a proxy of your own. Until it's updated, I'm giving the addon 3/5 stars. Once the new version is up, then that's a full 5/5 stars. (And I hope something can be done.)
Keep it up, you're almost there.
PS.
IPvFoo is also suffering from the same problem, I already filed it as a bug over there.
Penelope

Made the switch from TB2 to Eudora. Penelope is part of Eudora itself (the open-source version of course). Using Penelope under TB2 compare to Eudora+Penelope (which comes by default) is better (though not that noticeable).
I have this feeling that I am using a great email client - Eudora, yet a FLOSS application. The Freedom in other words.
