Lightbird aims to provide sane calendar UI for SeaMonkey.
By default Lightning is hidden inside Mail & Newsgroups, and is not a separate component. Additionally it has few SeaMonkey-only bugs and generally feels awkward.
Sunbird, on other side, has better UI, but is a standalone app.
Lightning combines them, adding modified Sunbird UI to Lightning.

- It turns calendar into a separate top-level component, adding a component bar icon, a Window menu entry, Ctrl+8 chortcut, a checkbox to open it when SeaMonkey starts up and -calendar command line option.
- It disables default Lightning UI in MailNews;
- With -calendar option, it's possible to use Lightbird as a standalone calendar.
