At last! This add-on solved a problem that vexed me and others who chimed-in to help. My thanks to Wayne Mery, who linked me to this add-on, and of course to Geoff for this utility. Saved me a total reinstall. Now the only TB bug (that I can complain about) is the failure of 'Empty Trash' to work properly on the Unified Trash folder.

Solve problem (right click Unified Folders the program block on windows), with rest Unified Folders , all ok

Mi ha risolto il problema: se facevo tasto destro sulla cartella unificava si bloccava il programma- facendo reset del folder unificato allora tutto si è sistemato

ok, it took me a while to work this our. There is NO menu options unless you have ALL Folders and UNIFIED turned on in the view menu. If you just have unified on you wont be able to access the options

I added this add-on to the French version of Thunderbird (115.10.1). I see no way to enable it. The instruction says "To use, open the menu beside the Unified Folders heading in the folder pane." - there is no menu besides the Unified Folders heading in the folder pane.

When I go into Menu > Affichage > Folders/Dossiers > Unified_folders Thunderbird check it... ok, cool, but directly after, it uncheck it... frustrating me !
I use it to centralise my all workflow so unified was a big thing for me.

I already try to reset Thunderbird with Trooblshoot and new empty profile...
