After my work forced us to use "safe" links, the first thing I did was to look for a way to disable this evil feature. This add-on does a pretty good job at it!

A lifesaver, central IT turned the URL mangling on and refuses to disable it. This extension makes email links usable again!

Very useful for reading mangled emails. Would be excellent if it could similarly unmangle quoted material when responding to email with URLs.
