the addon works only of you disable the hook "delay at start" in the preferences. otherwise there is no prompt at all and no mails can be loaded

Genial umgesetzt: man kann einfach auf einer Seite sagen "Style für diese Seite erstellen" und dann mit ein paar CSS befehlen die Seite verschönern.

Schön wäre noch, wenn man bestimmte Bereiche mit CSS-ids versehen könnte um Elemente anzupassen, die sonst nicht eindeutig anzusprechen sind

I installed this, and this will break Thunderbird 31 completely (see:http://www.thunderbird-mail.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=372179#p372179).
In case you installed this, you have to restart Thunderbird with "-safe-mode" te disable this again!

What you are looking for is the "keyconfig 20110522" Add-On, that is old, but still working:
To install this, you have to :

- right-click on the first word "keyconfig" in the old first forum post from "April 30th, 2004" to get the keyconfig.xpi file form here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=72994

- open the settings for the extension "keyconfig 20110522", there you can change all key-shortcut, you like (for example disable single-key-shortcuts or "Ctrl+Q", which is my favorite ;-)

Great Work.

just some things missing, that would be cool:
if you select a local folder with pictures that are not named {email}.ending you select "use random pictures from folder" and then just any random picture is selected for your contacts each.

so you can create your own identicons.

and it would be nice to have these identicon providers too: Retro, vanillicon and Unicornify!
and then an option to pick randomly of one provider for each contact

Sehr praktisch und funktioniert beim Senden/Weiterleiten einer Email

schön wäre noch, wenn man:

1.
Wenn man noch bei BMP Anhängen einstellen könnte, dass diese nicht gezippt würden sondern in PNG umgewandelt

2.
eine vorhandene Mail, die man in seinem IMAP Postfach liegen hat mit einem großen Anhang komprimieren könnte ohne den Header mit Absender, Datum etc. zu verändern. (um den benötigten Speicherverbrauch seines IMAP Kontos klein zu halten)
