I noticed that my zip code setting for Michigan cuts off the top of Michigan (Upper Peninsula). Obviously Accuweather's fault, but it would be nice to have a separate location setting for radar from the forecast, so I can set radar to look at Wisconsin instead.

That's exactly what the custom radars are for. Go to the Accuweather site that has the image you want, right-click on the image, press Copy Image Location and paste into the Custom URL box.
