Session Manager for Firefox is mission critical for me. It always was but even more so now. I don't go to any dodgy sites but still get caught by those quite scary hijacking, talking, ransom screens 1-2 times a week now. Just had one earlier. They're on FB posts. I usually ignore FB's 'Suggested Post' items. Occasionally I look at one. However, they are now directing me to those ransom sites.

It is only with using Session Manager that I can easily escape those things but not so with Firefox v57. I had to revert to version 56. At least that was easy enough to do.
