To check a message, the extension sends the text you wrote in the compose window to the LanguageTool server whose address you entered in its settings. That server is yours to choose, be it your own instance, your organization's, or a public LanguageTool service. No server address is built into the extension.

OpenLanguageToolClient sends nothing anywhere else, and collects nothing.
