I was able to get this to work in TB60 after going into Advanced Settings-Config Editor, searching for 'strictcom' and setting that to FALSE. That disables Strict Compatibility which is a new element in TB60. After did this, my contact photos reappeared in my email headers. However, PLEASE!! update this Add-on.

I was able to get this to work partially for TB60. You have to disable strict compatibility in TB60 Settings/Advanced-Config Editor. (Set it to FALSE). Just search for 'strictcom'.

Bad news is, that only sounds you already had set prior to updating to TB60 will play upon Filter Execution. Clicking the folder icon to change a sound, or add a sound in a new rule, does not function. Sound files not in all lower-case font, also will not work. Luckily, I only had two like that, which I seldom need. ;-)

So, I am to understand that this add-on is suddenly not working on T-bird, because of a date check? Absolutely ridiculous. No one should have become a self-help 'programmer' to fix this. Whomever is to fault for this, needs to get their act together. This is absolute nonsense. Add-On UNINSTALLED, until someone gets their head and arse wired together.

Thunderbird v52 install seems to have killed this add-on. Not a complaint. Just FYI. I reverted back to v45 and the add-on is working flawlessly as before. Wonderful tool to have! Thank you!
