To get the Favorite Folders in the Folders sidebar to change order, you have to switch to All Folders view and then back to Favorite Folders. I nearly uninstalled this addon thinking it was not working before I figured out this little trick.

Revision: It appears that this addon will not allow reordering of folders in Favorite Folders Compact View, which is my preferred way to work.

Downloading manually_sort_folders-1.2.0pre3.xpi from the previous reviewer's link solves the problem of accounts/files not appearing in the interface, but sorting does not work in Thunderbird 60.3.2.
