The last update actually stops it removing the menu bar it just now removes all the menu items and leaves the bar.

I have been trying to install this the version 3.0.0 on Firefox 3.6 but it doesn't work. The main menu bar stands still and no icon is showed.

Perfect! More convenient way than Hide Menubar, since this leaves a button that can be clicked.

Please update to Firefox 3.6 and please be on time next time...

I hate this, I always have an extension that is not updated anymore when upgrading Firefox...

If it's not updated to Firefox 3.6 within the next hours I'm just gonna release my own version (and will make sure to keep it updated... unlike you!).

Was just the final touch I was looking for for my fullscreen firefox setup (Autohide + Full Fullscreen + Compact Menu = Win). Love it!

Fantastic, but doesn't work with Firefox 3.6 RC1. I really hope this is fixed by the time 3.6 goes live.

This works for TB3 if you modify the install.rdf file and increase the MAX version for Thunderbird above 3.0

and there you have the chrome menu. Awesome. Firefox flexibility and Chrome GUI together.

I wasted considerable time to upgrade to Compact Menu 2. First I got graphics scrambled with 6 or 8 lines of mysterious things, sorry did not tale screenshot.
Then I removed the addon, installed it anew and did not have meu bar, no compact menu icon, no address bar, just my own bookmarks toolbar.
I repeated the process. No I have to live without compact menu.
Possibly a conflict with other add-ons, I don't know.

It's really good so far, and I think this one is better than Personal Menu.
