This addon is great! I have it in Chrome and use it all the time writing emails. My only complaint is that it does not seem to work in Gmail. All it does is hightlight the text. I'm sure it's just a bug.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.11.0.1-signed).

Do you still have this behaviour? A problem similar to what you describe (https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/issues/141) was fixed in the most recent release -- 2.11.2.
