Thunderbird 115.6.1 で試してみましたが、確かに「便利」ですね。
トグルボタンの押下、一発で瞬時に「メッセージペイン」が目一杯拡張されます。

Seems to work okay with Thunderbird 102. I'm not sure why Thunderbird itself doesn't provide a toolbar icon to toggle the message pane as well as the F8 shortcut, but this extension covers the functionality.

What about a ZoomIn-ZoomOut Button for adapting the message dimension IN the preview pane?

Works with Thunderbird 78.4.0 (64 bits).
The icon disappears by itself if it is placed on the tabs line.

I found the icon - it's shows as "Preview". It functioned well until update TB 78.1.1 - my three addon icons no longer "stick" in the bar. I hope another update will solve this problem.

Nice, but there is F8 for this function.

Very useful. A smoother way to check if a message is one of interest and then to open the message in a new tab (full Window), which is my preference), rather than doing it in 2 stages.
