Does exactly what I was searching for! A couple of reviewers rated it only one star based on their belief that FF does it for you, but no, FF auto-updates the BROWSER itself, not the add-ons. This extension can be configured to auto-update add-ons automatically, thus complementing the browser auto-update feature already present. It saves me from manually updating add-ons when starting the browser, specially for frequently updated add-ons such as NoScript.
