I use Lightning in conjunction with numerous CalDAV/CardDAV-compliant calendars and tasks lists. Specifically, I use fruux, which is a freemium service built entirely on sabredav, an open-source CalDAV solution. I'm very happy with how easy it is to use standards-compliant features.

Finally! A close-to-tray extension that works!

Very, very, very rarely do I encounter the double-window bug; if you encounter this, simply disable the plugin, close one of the windows, and re-enable it.
