I've been using this extension for more than five years and couldn't find a better alternative.
This is the only mouse gesture add-on that recognizes diagonal gestures properly.

I'm using Mouse Gestures Redox 3.1pre.20100831 on Firefox 4.0b6pre and it's working like a charm! Just download the beta release on developer's website.

I have been using this extension for more than 3 years, and I can say this is the best Mouse Gesture addon available, mainly because it has "diagonal tolerance", which allows me to use LU, LD, RU and RD gestures without having to draw a perfectly diagonal gesture so it can recognize.
As the author did not update the version in this page, I recommend you to download version 3.0.0 from author's homepage, http://www.mousegestures.org
