This addon fills an ancient need! Works! Yay!
What would make it perfect? Remembering the save directory and filename template between uses. I'm saving many-per-day invoice attachments that have a standard format and always go to the same place; typing the template I need every.single.time. hurts.
Edit: NOOO updated tbird and it stopped working *sob*

I don't see this working, I have the config set up but there is no button or option.
Edit: by turning on the Composition Toolbar in the compose window I can see the button, but it's grayed out and has no effect. I still can't find the shortcut, what is STRG?

Indispensable! Nostalgy adds an essential feature (do Thunderbird devs not use keyboards? can they not type?) and this is the new improved version complete with active support. Thank you opto!

PS 2 bugs outstanding: options should be moved to Add-on Options; and when there is a save folder suggestion, Enter should accept the suggestion instead of throwing an error.
I see the note that TAB+enter accepts the suggestion, but that doesn't work for me: I still get the error.

Other than that, perfect!
