So thankful this exists still. I hadn't gotten a winmail.dat in a long time and had to go look at an old email to find I couldn't view it anymore since the original extension was long since unavailable.

To those reading, you can always try to run on newer versions of Thunderbird by renaming the .XPI as .ZIP, extracting the manifest.json someplace. Editing manifest.json and changing strict_max_version to be past whatever version of Thunderbird you currently have. One of those "worth a shot" and today worked great on my beta version of Thunderbird.
