Mailbox Alert

Have been using it for years ( I have been using TB since it was first split away from Mozilla on both unix and windows platforms.) Brilliant add-on which really ought to built in to TB. Has worked fine with TB 91x and earlier versions. But I upgraded to 102.0.3 and guess what. It doesn't work now. Have followed instructions on persuading it that it is compatible but no joy. So I deinstalled it in safe mode, rebooted TB and then tried to reinstall with the latest from here. Now It says "Mailbox Alert could not be installed because Thunderbird cannot modify the needed file." So plan B. I downloaded the mailbox_alert-0.29.1-tb.xpi file and tried to install that. This time it says "Mailbox Alert could not be installed because it is not compatible with Thunderbird 102.0.3". So something TB's software engineers have done has broken it.

It *does* work for sortiing accounts but you have to manually install the latest pre release ie. 1.2.0pre3 as per one of the other reviews.
