Works great with ThunderBird 8.0 (and the updated Provider for Google Calendar add-on). Version upgrade is not trivial -- but well-worth the effort.

Congratulations to the developers on reaching 1.0 after all these years and many thanks, too!

The TB addon (in)compatibility reporter also hangs on submit.

The support page http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/releases/lightning1.0b7.html is dead, too, leaving no option to communicate with developers other than here.

P.S. Project home http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/lightning is grossly outdated, and the download section there offers only1.0b5 for TB 3!

Great idea (in particular on smaller screens), but beware: uninstall this before upgrading FireFox -- or your menu can disappear forever.

The TinyMenu extension offers similar functionality in a safer way.

This is a must-have if you compose mail in RtL languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi, ...); it also makes reading BiDi mail much easier.
