A very useful addition, but does it only work in new emails? It doesn't respond when responding and forwarding, and that's exactly where it needs to be.

Thunderbird's design has beautiful colors, but the text in incoming emails and messages is often hard to read due to low contrast (e.g., dark text on dark backgrounds). Please improve readability by using lighter backgrounds or adjusting text colors. A more accessible color scheme would greatly enhance the user experience.
