Have been working in international corporations as well as small software houses. Hardware-wise, well-versed in IBM PC and compatible, ethernet networking, with some background in IBM mainframes (IBM Cabling System, SNA terminal controllers). Surprised that ThunderBird 3.0 didn't have compact headers as in ThunderBird 2.x by default. This one saves the day!

There is now another tool that works side-by-side with FolderPane Tools. It's called Manually Sort Folders:

This one does NOT replace FolderPane Tools (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/258), as this one does NOT sort newsgroup (and mail) accounts. It only sorts things inside an account. It's still a useful tool.
