Very useful for my 96 year-old-father who sometimes does anything with his mouse! Could you consider extending this add-on to disable the drag function on headers of the message list panel to avoid changing the order of columns?

I'm glad the addon helps your father. I already looked into disabling the drag function a while ago; unfortunately it's not possible.

You may look into switching from table view to card view. Card view doesn't have any headers at all.
