I havent counted how many times the notification appears, but it definitely usually happens more than once

Awesome plug-in. What's interesting though is that a project has sprung up to provide funding for the off-line synchronization feater: http://www.cofundos.org/project.php?id=6
Since the plug-in seems to be in active development for this, maybe the developer should go pick-up the bounty or something.
