I missed an acoustic notification when an e-mail was sent and it seems (at least on MacOS) this is no native Thunderbird feature. So I created this quick, little AddOn which allows you to set an MP3 file that will be played if your message was sent.

I missed a quick sound notification that plays after a message was successfully sent. So I created this simple and little AddOn which does just that.
After the installation, click on the settings-icon of the AddOn in your AddOn overview list in Thunderbird (see screenshot). A settings-page will open where you can select an MP3 file to play when a message was sent. As the MP3 is stored directly in Thunderbird I suggest to use a small one.
After setting an MP3 file there, you'll hear that file playing whenever you sent a mail. If you want to disable or change the sound, just go to the settings page again. Or remove the AddOn, if you don't want any sent-sound anymore.
