Very useful but very slow to show emails when the email threads are very long and the account is an Exchange account.

If you're using the Owl add-on, then I strongly suspect it is a consequence of that add-on. I'm not sure how it is working, but I'm not sure it does the same level of caching as other types of delivery methods (IMAP/POP). It may also be something to do with the server.

There's not much Conversations can do about this - it is asking Thunderbird for the messages, and displaying the data it receives. There's very little we can do to speed it up. I strongly suspect if it is that slow, then it is a consequence of how the Owl add-on is working.
