I had a couple of issues, including the following:
* Cannot drag regular text, which is not a link.
* If I drag the scrollbar, and move the mouse away, the scrolling stops.
* Some text selection anomalies.

I found an alternative, though, which works well for me:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/drag-select-link-text/

The new version (2015.2.1) uploaded yesterday and should be available after moderation tomorrow. Could you try it?
