Note: The following can be done with any addon

You can update this by installing this by a browser that doesn't know what to do with .xpi or .jar file. (The best are Internet Explorer and Safari.) After you have done that open the file (I used winrar). Use text editor, if you are using a PC, and edit the line where it says 2.0.0.* or something similar to that and replace version number with 3.0.3. or what version of Firefox you are using. Drag the .xpi or .jar file to your Firefox addons windows and voila. You're done. If you don't get the normal "Are you sure you want to download this addon" window, try installing an earlier version of Firefox.
