The add-on does not meet current requirements. The compressed images are too small or lack sufficient detail. Nowadays, it's no longer a problem to send an email with 5 MB.
My suggestion: Allow the selection of a target file size and/or a scaling factor.

Big fan of this addon. Shame the original author left, but thankfully there appears to be a fork that's added support for version 115 and a number of other improvements (like support for other image formats) available on github. It is managed by the user "memeller" and the repo name is "shrunked".

I am using TB 102.4.2 (64-bit) - the extension installs ok, but doesn't request a resize when an attachment is made, or when sending the email. It DOES appear as a right click option, so it is partially functioning?

It works, but the quality of the resized images is terrible, even if using high quality source. Rasters are easily visible. It would be much better if the plugin would be used bicubic resampling.

Super tool! I wish there would be a function to auto-resize images added inside message (not as attachment). Now we have to right click and select "Resize this image".

Some wishes:
1. Option to allow to shrink both when attaching the file and additionally before send. On attaching the file alone has the disadvantage that user could easily forget to shrink. On sending alone has the disadvantage that the user may not recognize that he/she should shrink the images before saving a mail as draft.
2. I would like to see the selected quality as number.
3. I can't activate auto rotate with German TB 91.3.2 (32-Bit) and Win10 pro 21H1.
